Talking About CBD Oil for Your Pets

We are born and put on this earth as a carer, it’s a natural gene in the body that makes up our genetics, and as we grow we sow the seed of love and responsibility, and this is spread and increased.

We begin families, children’s laughter is heard around the house, little footsteps stomping up and down the stairs in the too-early hours of the mornings on weekends, and we wouldn’t change it for the world.

Image helps to illustrate this article about CBD oil and caring for our pets. Add into the mix a furry family member and suddenly you’re living a movie scene, going for walks in the mountains with the dogs running ahead, kids trying to catch up but unable to run quickly in their wellie boots, life is good.

As mothers, I have children of my own so speaking from my own experience, we have more on our plate than any other member realizes or takes into consideration. We seem to be the carpool taxi each week, the clothes shopper because for some reason they don’t just appear in the cupboards, and of course the nutritional provider.

Life is busy, work schedules are manic, but at the end of the day, we have food on the table. And this meal is usually nutritious and as healthy as we can afford, manage, and create. I have, in recent years, tried to be more conscious of the food we buy, checking ingredient labels and origins of manufacturing.

If you’ve been thinking about this for a while but daunted by the big words and trying to decipher what they all mean, check here www.healthline.com/nutrition/how-to-read-food-labels. Giving you a quick guide on how to go about beginning a healthier journey for the future.

I was recommended by a friend to use a product that has become increasingly popular on the market, an ingredient called CBD oil. This naturally found product, also known as Cannabidiol, is a cousin of the marijuana plant but without the hallucinogenic component and psychoactive element called THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol for those who need to know more).

My husband would mention how he sleeps better, more soundly, waking up with a renewed energy, and not being lethargic each morning.

All family members

We take our dogs to the vet regularly for their checkups and shots and overall well-being, and as they have become older as is life, we began to notice a change in them. They weren’t necessarily moaning but they would be laying around more, struggling to walk at times to their food and water bowls, and we became concerned.

I did some research online and found that others have used CBD not only for themselves and the family but for their pets, something I had not considered before till now, and it made sense. See some of the many comments and experiences in this blog and understand how it could change your pets’ life for the better.

This is an all-natural product, why wouldn’t we give our animals the same advantages of the best version of their lives? I dug further, read more success stories, and decided to go for it.

It later came out on some test results we had done earlier that there was a mass of inflammation in their hind joints, causing perhaps not chronic or severe pain, but a lot of discomforts. And this is the last thing any of us want to feel, and I would hate knowing my dogs were going through this and unable to communicate it.

I began trying new recipes, adding the oil into the mixture of the doggy treats, and they were none the wiser but uber happy to receive treats during the day.

Trying new things

There are many variations you can try to implement this product into your lifestyle. For my children they enjoy the CBD gummies which look like sweets so they are more than happy to have them each morning, my husband who doesn’t believe in taking pills or tablets prefers to have it added to the meal or shakes so he gets the benefit without knowing about it, hilarious but it works.

The dogs have had all sorts of kitchen creations, doggy treats, to biscuits, to simply stirring a few drops into their cooked meals before serving and the family is happy and healthy.

Noticing a change in your pet raises a red flag and we tend to panic, running to all sorts of doctors and signing up for every test under the sun. Trying an all-natural, organic approach may just be the answer you’ve been looking for. It certainly is cheaper we have found, vet bills tend to pile up rather quickly.

Brands and products that want as chemical and toxin-free of a product is one you want to be involved with, a few hours of dedicated research into companies such as Holistapet or others to name a few pride themselves on being safe for all animals.

We have the peace of mind knowing our furballs are being treated for any ailments and issues naturally and not being pumped with chemicals or harmful pesticides that could have long term detrimental side-effects. No thank you.

Take your family’s life into your own hands and do it naturally.

Hey there! Has the CBD had a good effect on your dog with regards to barking at others or anxiety? We just moved and next-door neighbour has four dogs. He is barking at them non stop and making us look like we can’t control him. We have wanted to try CBD for so long. Now we try it.

I have dogs of my own so speaking from my own experience. Dogs do get stressed. I look after a highly strung dog. I find the CBD tablets do have a relaxing effect and the dog seems more contented taking these types of tablets. I have more on our plate than anyone in or family realizes. CBD for my pet does help I’m sure.

Awesome post. You know I just don’t get it. I take CBD and it helps me sleep and my mood seems better. But people say all the time that they’ll believe it when the FDC says it’s scientifically proven. Well! WTF! If it works for pets! Isn’t that proof enough. I say they need to get real and that they are missing out…
